Following the success of the first two editions in Maastricht and Milan, Women in Exhibitions is delighted to announce the third edition of the Women in Exhibitions World Summit set to take place on 8-9 July 2025 at London Excel. Under the theme “Elevate, Accelerate: Together We Rise,” this year’s summit promises to the most impactful so far, bringing together leaders, visionaries, and change makers.
Backup Tech’s annual summertime day of fun and frivolity, this year renamed The Fabulous Village Fete in celebration of Adam Taylor, aka Adam Fabulous, DJ and long-time supporter of the event, will once again take place at Surrey’s Daytona Sandown Park on Thursday July 10th. With shooting brakes, feather boas, picnic blankets, cake creations and voluminous veg to the fore, the industry is invited to enjoy the event’s perennial favourites, including Best Dresses Fete’r, the hugely popular ‘Bake Off’ and ‘Veg Off’, The Straw Stage for live entertainment and workshops, ‘Peasant’ laser clay Shooting, the Food and Craft Fest stalls and some new additions, to be announced later in the build-up to the day.
The event industry’s reliance on data to help it plan for the future, increase its resilience, manage risk and justify investment decisions, is growing year on year.
The engagement and access that The Power of Events (UK) has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the new insight app to be launched on 28th Sep 2023.
By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.
