AEV Annual Conference 2023

The seventh AEV Annual Conference will be held on Friday 17 November 2023 at the QEII Centre, London. The conference delivers content centred on the practicalities of venue teams delivering truly world class events. It will be preceded by an icebreaker event on Thursday 16 November giving delegates the opportunity to network prior to the main event.

They’ll be talking about ‘hidden carers,’ an important (and likely growing) minority of people working in music who have caring responsibilities for people who are not children (and who sometimes have children to care for as well), and sharing examples of what best practice can look like for carers, sharing tips and strategies for support. They would also love to hear from you about your experiences and there will be an opportunity for questions and discussions. The LIVE Awards

The LIVE Awards will be presented on 12 December at Troxy, London, in front of an invited industry audience. The evening brings the business together at the end of the year. As LIVE’s standout fundraiser for the year, proceeds from the night will directly support LIVE’s ongoing work engaging government on critical issues such as EU touring and VAT on tickets and our efforts to support all across live music in the UK to meet their sustainability goals and foster a more diverse, equitable and inclusive operating environment. International AGF Awards 2024

The engagement and access that The Power of Events (UK) has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the new insight app to be launched on 28th Sep 2023.

By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.
