BM Park Live series goes 100 per cent veggie for 2025
BM Park Live has announced that the 2025 editions of its summer festival series will be 100 per cent vegetarian and vegan. The series includes Junction 2 Festival and Paradise In The City, and takes place in London’s Boston Manor Park.

Towering above crowds in the Arcadia field, the 13m-wide sculpture is built around a repurposed military helicopter, transformed into a living, breathing audio-visual creature brought to life with projection, LED and lighting in harmony.

UK – When Dunottar School in Reigate set out to stage its most ambitious production yet – Shrek the Musical – theatre & AV manager Ted Swan knew he wanted to raise the bar. With a background in professional theatre and experience in the West End, Ted turned to White Light, a d&b solutions company (WL), to help bring a touch of theatrical magic to the school’s 480-seat venue.

The Loop Launches Drug Checking Online Training Courses
Drug checking service The Loop has unveiled a series of online training courses aimed at delivering more in-depth knowledge of the drug market, drug use, and harm reduction. The upcoming courses cover a range of topics, including the latest trends in the UK drug market, responses to drug use at music festivals and outdoor events, and deep dives into substances such as MDMA and ketamine. Specific courses also focus on drink spiking, drug-facilitated sexual assault, harm reduction theories and chemsex.
Boardmasters Foundation Announces £115k Funding Recipients
Boardmasters Foundation has just announced this year’s recipients as it continues its mission to give back to local charities and organisations who go above and beyond for community and culture in Cornwall. 40 local organisations will receive donations from the Foundation, which raises funds annually at Boardmasters surf and music festival. Established in 2017, Boardmasters Foundation has gone on to proudly raise almost half a million pounds,, providing funds to over 100 deserving organisations including charities, start-ups, schools, conversation organisations, emergency services, creatives, skate parks and much more.

The engagement and access that The Power of Events (UK) has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the new insight app to be launched on 28th Sep 2023.

By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.
