Over the past few years, sustainability has become a critical global priority due to our increasing awareness of the risks our planet faces without immediate action. Embracing the concept of sustainability is vital, but it’s essential to first comprehend its meaning and implications.
Successfully launched in 2022, the CN Sustainability Summit is an ideal opportunity to examine what the events sector is doing well and identify areas for improvement. This event provides a platform to evaluate the industry’s sustainable impact, discuss best practices and generate ideas on how to address the key issues hindering efforts to create a sustainable future for events.

The event industry’s reliance on data to help it plan for the future, increase its resilience, manage risk and justify investment decisions, is growing year on year.
The engagement and access that The Power of Events UK has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the Events Industry Insight App launched in 2024.
By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.
