EXPERIENTIAL SHOWCASE REVOLUTIONISING SCOTTISH EVENTS TO TAKE PLACE NEXT YEAR

EXPERIENCEit, a new initiative designed to support the growing market for experiential events in Scotland and beyond, will be held in Edinburgh early next year.

EXPERIENCEit aims to bring together organisations and individuals from the creative marketing and communications, film, entertainment, sport, festivals and business events sector to discuss, share and showcase how to create events with greater impact both for the attendee and the wider environment and community.

EICC SECURES STRING OF MAJOR CONFERENCE WINS EQUATING TO VENUE’S STRONGEST EVER PIPELINE OF EVENTS BUSINESS
The 40 conferences and events, which will bring around 20,000 delegates to Edinburgh and the EICC, and translate to around £32 million of economic impact, include major healthcare conferences such as the 36th International Papilloma-virus Conference in November 2024; the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in GB & Ireland in March 2025; and the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists Annual Scientific Meeting in May 2025.

The engagement and access that The Power of Events (UK) has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the new insight app to be launched on 28th Sep 2023.

By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.
